Live is a double live album released by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac on 8 December 1980. It was the first live album from the then-current line-up of the band, and the next would be The Dance from 1997. The album was certified gold 500,000 copies sold by the RIAA in November 1981. Live consists of recordings taken primarily from the 1979-1980 Tusk Tour, together with a few from the earlier Rumours Tour of 1977. Two songs were recorded at a Paris soundcheck and three at a performance at. Peter Green's guitar playing is tentative at the beginning of the set but he seems to quickly gain confidence. By the time they start Watch Out, he is clearly in control but again, the recording quality is so poor that only a true Green-o-phile will stick it out long enough to find out. There is some kind of disclaimer about the sound inside the brief booklet but even that doesn't prepare you for how bad this sounds. Got to give this five strars for the historic value, really early Fleetwood Mac sound quality as what you would expect from a live recording of that era. Read more. One person found this helpful.
