The 25th Anniversary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concerts were a two-day concert series celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It took place on October 29th and 30th, 2009 at Madison Square Garden and the tickets cost between 75USD and 2,000USD. The idea behind the concert was to have Hall of Fame inductees perform in eight segments Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon and Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, Jeff Beck, Metallica and U2 and to. A celebratory 25th anniversary concert performance of the hit musical at The O2 in London. The 25th concert celebration is very memorable. Led by the rapturously voiced Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, the cast includes Broadway singer Norm Lewis as Javert, Lea Solanga as Fantine, Nick Jonas as Marius, Ramin Karimloo as Enjoras, Samantha Barks as Eponine, Katie Hall as Cosette, Jenny Galloway as Mme. Alfie Boe is more than amazing as Jean Valjean. There is an encore performance at the end including all casts that just blew me away. So, when I first learned that they were doing a big 25th anniversary concert I was naturally very excited. But I was deeply concerned about the casting and didn't want to spend the fortune they were charging for tickets to see a potentially dreadful version that might ruin my love affair with the show.
